Spotted: Madonna at the Fischerspooner concert - 07/05/09

M, with Jesus, Lourdes and Klein enjoying Fischerspooner's show at the balcony of the Music Hall of Williamsburg Thursday night.

NY Magazine reports: "Madonna was in attendance (hanging off of some man, Lourdes knows who). Spooner, surely to her dismay, made Madonna’s presence known — probably mischievously, as he also asked, seemingly with mock surprise, where she’d gone to once the set was over. Madge ducked out after a few songs."

Quick Updates!

* Page Six: "IT'S officially the off-season for Sean Avery. The oft-penalized puckster, who was benched by the Rangers for Game 5 of their seven-game defeat to the Caps, was smoking cigarettes the other night with Catherine Keener and a gaggle of groupies in the Meatpacking District on his way to Daphne Guinness' birthday party for photographer Steven Klein at the new Standard Hotel. "He was wearing a tight black shirt, thick glasses and wide-legged swishy black pants," laughs a spy. "He looked ridiculous." Also in attendance at the party were Madonna and boy toy Jesus Luz, Ingrid Sischy, and Avery's ex Kelly Klein."

* M did take Jesus to the to the fashion gala Monday night, just not to the red carpet.

* Women Wear Daily Twitters:

Everyone who is anybody is at the Marc Jacobs after-party at Monkey Bar. Madonna is dancing to her own songs.

Carolina Herrera asked "Is Madonna here with the toy boy or the boy toy?"

M and Lourdes on Lady GaGa's show

NY Daily News

Madonna, her daughter Lourdes and photographers Steven Klein and David LaChappelle all put on their “Poker Faces” to catch Lady GaGa’s show at N.Y.C.’s Terminal 5 on Saturday night.

Since the two performers have an affinity for elaborate outfits and stage production, it was no surprise “Madonna loved Gaga’s show,” said our wintess. “Especially when Gaga played “Future Love” on the piano. Lourdes was singing along to every word.”

At the end of Gaga’s set, the out-there singer was presented with a gold record for her current album “The Fame.” After thanking the audience and her label, she then thanked her “amazing” opening band, Semi Precious Weapons.

But Madge and Lourdes missed that. They left halfway through the show —”probably because Gaga went on late, around 1 a.m., and Madge is a good mom!” — says our source. Other celebs continued on to Bungalow 8 for the after-party, where Kanye West tried to keep a low profile. “He was very weird about people knowing he was there. He didn’t seem to want anyone to know he was out,” snitches an insider. Maybe he should’ve “Just Dance(d)”!

A-Rod mentions M in interview to Details magazine

Men Style

Shot by Steven Klein

The night before his life changes forever, Alex Rodriguez calls from Miami with an urgent request. A-Rod is worried about something he said during our interview last night. I've been hearing mysterious warnings all afternoon: Alex needs to talk. Alex wants to clarify something. Can't say what. Alex will call you from his car.

"Listen," Rodriguez says. "I was thinking about one thing that I spoke about—it's something that's kind of trivial but will give me a hard time for no reason." He pauses. "The song."

Aha. Last night, he let slip his favorite Madonna song. The curious relationship between A-Rod and the pop icon makes for delicious gossip, of course. Is Rodriguez terrified that Madonna will resent the tongue-wagging? Or, better still, has he picked the wrong song as his favorite, and fears that an offended Madge might march her stilettos over his back? No: Rodriguez believes that revealing the song would lead to its being played every time he stepped to the plate during an away game. "The last thing I want to do is go to every stadium and have them play that song," he says. Fine—to be honest, it's not even a great Madonna song (if it had been something juicy like "Justify My Love," forget it).

Looking back, his preoccupation seems surreal. Just the day before, Selena Roberts, a reporter from Sports Illustrated, had confronted Rodriguez at a Miami gym, asking for his reaction to evidence that he'd tested positive for illegal steroids in 2003. And now here he was, sweating a Madonna song. It's like worrying about the in-flight movie as your plane is belly flopping on the Hudson River.

Maybe Rodriguez is in denial. He's just spent the afternoon happily posing for the cover shoot for this story, showing off his strapping physique and loosening up with shots of Patrón. His pals talk of continuing the party nearby, at the remodeled Fontainebleu hotel. When he calls later there's no panic in his voice, no foreshadowing of the humiliation that he, at least, knows is coming. It really is as though his biggest concern in the world is that Madonna song. That fear is misdirected anyhow: Like an opposing team's ballpark needs any inspiration to crank up a Madonna song when A-Rod comes to the plate. Velvet-vested organists have been practicing the entire Ciccone oeuvre for months.

"He is so misunderstood," says Rodriguez's friend and manager Guy Oseary, who has worked with Madonna for more than two decades. "He really hasn't had the chance to show people who he really is."

It must mean something that Rodriguez seems more eager to talk about Madonna. His relationship with the 50-year-old pop priestess has been a "Page Six" staple for months, though there's been no confirmation of its exact nature. "Well, we're friends," Rodriguez says. "She's an amazing entertainer. And it's been amazing how she's been able to stay on top for three decades. I have a lot of respect for her." He says he's enjoyed their conversations, and her counsel. "She's very smart," he says, "and she's passionate about everything she does." Rodriguez can't name anything specific he's asked Madonna for advice on, "but if there ever was any situation, she's a great ear to have, you know?"

Their meeting was not, as some have speculated, arranged by Oseary, who represents them both. "I met her about 12 years ago in Miami, believe it or not," he says. "That's how we know each other. I was trying to buy her house, and I couldn't afford it."

Blame it on Jesus!!!

The W March isuue with M is here!
Mo, Mr. Cock of Light and 3 other cocks having some sexy time in a hotel in Rio. Here are some of my favorites:

Behind The Scenes in Rio

By Julie L. Belcove
Leave it to Madonna to have the last laugh. With the tabloid media in a frenzy over the 50-year-old’s divorce from Guy Ritchie and alleged dalliance with 33-year-old New York Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez, does she low-key it and go out publicly only with her kids? Does she find an “age appropriate” man, someone born, say, before the Beatles arrived in America?

Hell, no. Madonna has never been one to hide. Nor to apologize. Provocation is simply in her nature. So she teamed once again with photographer Steven Klein for a W photo shoot that thumbs her nose at prudes and busybodies who would call her a cougar. If you think A-Rod is too young for her, how about 20-ish Jesus Luz, a Brazilian model discovered during casting for the shoot in Rio de Janeiro? Madonna and Luz’s obvious chemistry, Creative Director Dennis Freedman recalls, quickly sidelined the other, more seasoned male mannequins as Klein’s heat-seeking lens homed in on the megastar and the unknown. Soon the shoot’s plot, told in Klein’s cinematic style, evolved into the story of a strong, powerful, exceedingly chic woman and her new, boyish, beautiful plaything.

“Blame It on Rio” is Madonna and Klein’s third collaboration for W. The first, “Madonna Unbound” (April 2003), found her twisted like a pretzel in a photographic meditation on the performance process. The second, “Madonna Rides Again” (June 2006), explored her, uh, passion for horses. And now comes her appreciation for the male form. “Each one is extraordinarily ambitious,” says Freedman.

But who would expect anything less from Madonna? Say what you will about her, she is no slacker. She agreed to undertake the W project on her two-day break between concerts in Rio and São Paulo on the South American leg of her Sticky & Sweet Tour. The first day was devoted to fittings, and on the second, Freedman says, “she worked well into the night” as the crew plowed through a storyboard’s worth of scenes. And if she managed to squeeze a little pleasure into all that business, who are we to criticize?

W Magazine is coming....!!!

NY Daily News

As if A-Rod didn't have enough to worry about.

Photos of Madonna getting hot and sticky with four Brazilian boy toys are about to hit newsstands.

Even as Yankees slugger Alex Rodriguez battles allegations of steroid use, W magazine will debut a 45-page spread in which the kabbalah vixen of his dreams can be seen simulating (at least we think she's simulating) sex with a quartet of hunks.

The biggest slice of beefcake in the spread is 22-year-old Ford model Jesus Luz, who's rumored to have replaced A-Rod as Madonna's main muscleman.

The layout, shot by top fashion photographer Steven Klein, shows Her Madgesty, 50, half-naked in black lingerie, straddling one stud on a hotel bed while being attended by three other pleasure-givers, one of whom barely conceals his manhood with a towel.

Although not as explicit as her X-rated 1992 book, "Sex," the shoot marks Madonna's return to the sort of arty raunch she abandoned when she married British director Guy Ritchie and took on the airs of an English countrywoman.

The W portfolio, headlined "Blame it On Rio," gives prominent play to Luz, who reportedly accompanied Madonna to the Maldives in December. Last week, he was seen with her in New York, where he's said to have dined with the Material Mom and her children.

Asked about the nature of Madonna's relationship with Luz, her rep, Liz Rosenberg, said, "I'm told they're kind of friends."

Madonna spotted in Wellington, Florida at the Winter Equestrian Festival

;It was previously rumored that Madonna will make an appearance at the Winter Equestrian Festival. She fianlly was spotted there this Sunday.
Page2live reports that M "watched professional show-jumpers for nearly two hours from her third-row $35,000-per-season table at the Palm Beach International Equestrian Center’s VIP club.
The Material Girl managed to go practically incognito behind thick dark glasses and under an orange baseball hat with a Che Guevara-like silhouette on the front."

Steven Klein is there with her, as you can see him
behind her in the photo:

The L.A. Times adds that
"Madonna was rumored to make an appearance at Sunday's $50,000 Equisport Agency Grand Prix. She was spotted by Dish Rag spies at the Equestrian Center this weekend, checking out the scene but mentioned she might not make an appearance in the stands due to press and photographers. Our source says: 'Madonna was in a box with a few other adults at the table watching the horses jump. She had an orange hat on with her hair pulled back. I did not see any kids with her or A-Rod. I know that she is here for two weeks with her trainer'."

As we said before; assuming she's staying in Miami, we wouldn't be too surprised if A-Rod will spotted around...!
